Re: NIOS +2 certificate recognition by degree colleges NIOS refers to National Institute of Open Schooling and it is world's largest network of open schooling which is also one of the three national board of education in India. Now as far as you are concerned about the validity of higher secondary school degree from NIOS board for higher studies then I would like to let you know that degree from NIOS board is valid everywhere as it is a national board. |

NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling and it offers open learning study to interested candidates and recognised by MHRD of India. So, if you want or passed from NIOS then you will be eligible for admission in degree course after 12th from NIOS. |

Re: NIOS +2 certificate recognition by degree colleges NIOS stands for National School of Open Schooling and it is a recognised board under Ministry of Human Resource and Development. So, the certificate issued by NIOS is valid and candidates are eligible for admission in degree colleges and for job recruitment after pursuing from NIOS. Re: NIOS +2 certificate recognition by degree colleges The full form of NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling. The NIOS is recognized board. Its certificates are acceptable for admission in any government or private degree colleges. Ministry of Human Resources and Central government has approved NIOS for secondary and senior secondary schooling exams. |

Re: NIOS +2 certificate recognition by degree colleges Hi, NIOS +2 certification is not recognized by all universities or degree colleges. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has granted equivalence to NIOS courses with those of other recognized Boards for the purpose of admission to higher courses of study at Indian Universities. Please find the list of institutions which is attached hereby that recognizes NIOS. |

Re: NIOS +2 certificate recognition by degree colleges Normally NIOS certificates are recognised across India, but the reputed universities and colleges avoids because they prefer regular board exam candidates over open board exam candid. So, apply to universities or colleges of normal repute and they will accept it. But in case of entrance exam admission to colleges or universities does follow such norms they focus only on the entrance exam marks. |
