Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? National institute of open schooling(NIOS) got equal and same recognition like CBSE, ICSE and other state syllabus. Studying under NIOS is not at all bad. you're just being part of the worlds largest open school network. So on passing 12, you can study law. But, you need to have a degree before you can study law. Or you can go for this integrated course BBA , BA, Bcom LLB. better option is to go for an integrated course as you can save an year. because for integrated course the duration will be five years whereas it will take 6 years if you do two degrees separately. |

Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? Yes, after 12th with NIOS you will be eligible to appear in BA LLB examination. The course which is of five year duration require to have minimum 12th std from a recognised board. There is no age limit to appear in examination. So, you have to appear and qualify in it for admission in course. You can appear in CLAT for admission in NLU's. |

So no need to worry in pursing BA LLB course NIOS certificate is also valid and you will be able to get admission on that basis. No need to write exam again from any other board. |

Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? B.A.LLB is five year and integrated bachelor in legislative course. The eligibility to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Since NIOS is a recognised board you can appear in entrance test and after qualifying in it will become for admission in course. The entrance test is conducted by various institutes. CLAT ( Common Law Admission Test ) is conducted for admission in NLU's. You are eligible to appear in CLAT after 12th from NIOS with minimum 45%. |

Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? BA LLB is an integrated course. The full form of NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling. The certificates obtained from NIOS board is accepted for admission in BA LLB course. There is nothing to get worried about is validity. You can prepare for this examination with hard work to secure better percentage of marks. NIOS is recognized by MHRD. |

Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? Yes, NIOS certificate in Higher Secondary Education is acceptable for the course of BA LLB. Those Students who have completed 10+2 from any recognized board in any discipline and secured at least 50% aggregate are eligible for the Law Courses. |

The certificates received from NIOS board is fully valid for admission in any higher studies course. You can apply for BA LLB after 12th from NIOS board. NIOS board is a valid board for 10th and 12th exams. |

Re: Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling and it is a recognised board under Ministry of HRD. So, candidates with certificate from the board are eligible to appear in various examination for recruitment. B.A LLB course is five year duration course. The common eligibility to appear in examination such as CLAT is that candidate must have passed 12th in any stream from a recognised board. So, after completion of 12th with NIOS you will become eligible for NIOS. |

Candidates who pursue 10th and 12th from this board are eligible for any higher study exams, course or government jobs. You can get admission in BA LLB course after getting certificate from NIOS. It is accepted by all government colleges and institutions in case of higher studies. |

Is NIOS certification accepted for BA LLB course? I failed my 12th exam from CBSE Board. Therefore, can I get admission in BA LLB after getting certificate from NIOS for High School? Or, will I have to give my 12th in next session? |
