Mechanical and Civil Engineering have better scope in case of jobs in coming future. You can also select from other streams like Computer Science or Information technology.

Bachelor of Science candidates can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test. B.Sc candidates with 60% marks can apply for LEET exam. LEET will help you to get admission in second year of engineering directly.

The first thing which I would like to suggest you to choose engineering stream depending upon your own interest in that stream rather than market trend and advice of others. If you have interest in any stream then you will surely do well in that stream. You can choose any stream and if you like it, you will excel and secure good job and career opportunities in it.

Bachelor of Science candidate can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test if they have 60% marks in graduation. LEET exam gives you opportunity to directly get admission in second year of engineering. There are many top streams like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics etc.

Candidates are not eligible to get admission in B.Tech or B.E course through Lateral entry after completion of B.Sc course.

So, if you are interested in an engineering course, you can take admission after completion of M.Sc course.

Candidates after completion of the master degree will become eligible for admission in the M.Tech course.

If you want to take admission in B.Tech, you have to start from the beginning ( 1st year ).
