The required qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 20-25 years with relaxation for reserved category. Candidates have to appear and qualify in written, physical and interview stages for final selection. The eligibility criteria to become a Sub-Inspector is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% from a recognized board. Candidate age must be 20 to 28 years. Relaxation are available for reserved category. Candidate must be an Indian. Final year candidate are also eligible. To become a Sub-Inspector you can apply SSC CPO examination. SSC CPO stands for Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization. SSC conducts CPO examination. So, you are not eligible to become a Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police after completing 12th. |

Eligibility criteria for SSC CPO exam: Academic qualification: The minimum academic qualification required to apply for SI in Delhi Police is bachelor's degree in any stream. You can not apply for SI post in Delhi Police after 12th CBSE. |

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that :- Candidate passed bachelor degree from a recognised university are eligible to appear in the examination. The age limit is 20-25 years. To be eligible to become Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university. Since, you have not pursued Bachelor's degree, being a 12th standard student, you are not eligible to apply for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police. |

Dear Sir, I would like to know that can I join as a Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police after completing my 12th which I am doing from CBSE Board? I am interested to become a Sub-Inspector. And I am preparing for the Board exam of 12th with CBSE Board. |
