Re: Eligibility to apply for IAS exam for Post Basic To become an I.A.S officer, you have to appear and qualify for Civil Service Examination and the eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. The age limit is 21-32 years. There is relaxation for reserved category. So, you are eligibility to appear in the examination after bachelor degree in nursing. |

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S etc. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. Candidates in final year are also eligible to appear for examination. So, you need to prepare for the three stages of examination and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection.
