Re: How much percentage is required in B.Tech finals to apply for GATE exam?

There is no minimum required aggregate in B.Tech course to appear for GATE examination.

GATE with qualifying marks and no backlogs are eligible to appear in the examination. It is conducted for admission in M.Tech course.

Recruitment in PSU's is also made on the basis of rank in the GATE.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to apply for GATE exam. If you have passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree then you can apply for exam.

Candidates with standing backlogs also apply for exam. They have to give a certificate signed by HOD that they have backlog.

GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is conducted by IIT or IISc every year for admission in M.Tech course.

Candidates interested in recruitment in PSU's have to appear and qualify in the examination.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in technology or master degree in science or computer application from a recognised institute. Candidates with qualifying aggregate are eligible to appear in the examination.

What is the required percentage in B.Tech Mechanical to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam? Do they consider all semester's marks or only final one?
