Yes, final year are eligible to appear for CDS examination and after qualifying in it will be eligible for selection as an officer.

The common age limit is 19-25 years.

The examination is conducted in two stages.

No, you are not eligible to appear in CDS examination while pursuing final year of graduation. To be eligible to appear in CDS examination, you should have passed Bachelor’s degree course in any discipline from a recognised college/ university. You should be in the age range of 19 to 24 years. So, being a final year graduation student, you are not eligible to apply for CDS examination.

You are eligible to apply for the CDS examination as per the qualification.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or in the final year of bachelor degree. The required stream varies with recruitment in various wing.

Written examination consists of three paper - English, General Ability and Mathematics. It is necessary to score minimum 20% in each paper and even the final cut off.

Candidates who qualifies in written are eligible to appear for SSB. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Final year candidates are eligible to apply for the CDS.

The examination is conducted in two stages by UPSC. You will become for recruitment in defence service as an officer after qualifying in the examination.

The written examination consists of three paper :- Mathematics, English, and General Ability.

So, you just need to do better preparation for qualifying in the examination.

** As per my knowledge, yes you can appear for CDS exams while pursuing my final year of graduation.

** Also, the candidate should not have any present backlog up to the last semester/year.

CDS is Combined Defence Service. The examination is conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is that:-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Candidates in the final year are also eligible to apply for the examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages :-

Written.

SSB.

Candidate's between 19-25 years are eligible to appear.

Can I appear for CDS exams while pursuing my final year of graduation?

Can I appear for CDS exam if recently I have finished my second year and enrolled myself for third year and final year of my graduation? Also, let me know if there is any changes or updates in the CDS exam syllabus or exam format.
