Can I appear for CDS exam if recently I have finished my second year and enrolled myself for third year and final year of my graduation? Also, let me know if there is any changes or updates in the CDS exam syllabus or exam format.

CDS is Combined Defence Service. The examination is conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is that:-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Candidates in the final year are also eligible to apply for the examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages :-

Written.

SSB.

Candidate's between 19-25 years are eligible to appear.

** In order to appear in CDS examination, the candidate should have passed graduation course from a recognized university.

** As per my knowledge, yes you can appear for CDS exams while pursuing my final year of graduation.

** Also, the candidate should not have any present backlog up to the last semester/year.

The examination is conducted in two stages by UPSC. You will become for recruitment in defence service as an officer after qualifying in the examination.

To be eligible to appear in CDS examination, you should have passed Bachelor’s degree course in any discipline from a recognised college/ university. You should be in the age range of 19 to 24 years. So, being a final year graduation student, you are not eligible to apply for CDS examination.
