Re: What is the difference between a B.Sc degree and a B.Tech degree?

The basic difference between in B.Sc degree and in B.Tech degree is given below :-

1)B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology while B.Sc stands for Bachelor of Science

2)B.Tech is a technical qualification, professional in nature and basic graduation programme in engineering technology while Bsc is a graduate course and is a basic programme in science stream.

3)The content in an Engineering degree is technical, focussed and more practical in application while the content in a BSc Degree course is broad and theoretical.

4)B.Tech course content is tough and demanding while B.sc course content is not that tough in compared to a technical degree like Engineering.

5)B.Tech students need to be excellent in Math and related science subjects applicable to their field of study viz. Physics / Chemistry while B.Sc students need to be good with the theoretical aspects of science and/or math subjects.
