Re: Is Biology necessary for Agricultural Engineering degree courses? The eligibility to get admission in B.Tech in Agricultural engineering is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper. Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course. So, Biology is not a compulsory subject in std 12th to become eligible to get admission in the B.Tech Agricultural engineering course. |

No, it is not mandatory to pursue Biology in higher secondary school degree course for pursuing degree course in Agriculture engineering as the minimum education required to pursue B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education. |

B.E/B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) Eligibility - You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with physics, chemistry, mathematics or biology subjects from a recognized university. - You need to appear and qualify the entrance exam for admission. Is Biology necessary for Agricultural Engineering degree courses? Are BiPC stream students only allowed and eligible to pursue a degree course in Agricultural Engineering? Which all subjects are required in 11th and 12th to be eligible to do a degree course in Agricultural Engineering? |
