Re: Scope after Doing MSc Medical Anatomy There is high scope after M.Sc anatomy. You can apply for the PhD course. This will help you to enter in to the research field. Also you can try for teaching jobs. You can attend the NET/SET exam. This will help you to get in to the lecture positions mainly in the government colleges or universities. You can join ISRO, DRDO etc too. you must need to gain knowledge in dissections,histological techniques and etc.so that some colleges will gives opportunity as a assistant professor after 3 yrs experience. good luck |

So in short, Anatomy is the scientific study of body structure, dissection, analysis and so on. so if you are good at these things there is a lot of demand for such students...... once you complete the course you will get to know the packages also.... |

Re: Scope after Doing MSc Medical Anatomy I have done M.Sc. Medical Anatomy and doing PhD medical Anatomy. Believe me this course had vacancy earlier some time till 2008. But during these days a lot of MD candidates are turning up to Anatomy, and there is simply no Scope for MSc Anatomy due this. According to Medical Council of India, Non-Medical People i.e MSc People can be allowed till only 30% that too in unavailability of Medical Faculty. So now if any college is getting MD faculty they will simply not take MSc faculty. You will only end up gathering recommendations from your teachers. Even Andhra Govt. (who allows large amount of colleges to run MSc Medical Courses) mention clearly in their advertise for job openings for various posts that "MSC CANDIDATES NEED NOT APPLY" now you see the scope for your self. more ever this course will be closed soon all over India, so PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR THIS COURSE. Rest all is left to you.. Good Luck |

So, if you have interest in such subject then you can improve yourself otherwise not. Scope of job in this field are very interesting you can join- In many medical companies, Clinical research field, Medical college, as a professor etc. There is a lot opportunity in abroad, for this field. Re: Scope after Doing MSc Medical Anatomy MSc Anatomy scope was good previously and the recipients used to get good salary packages. But now things have changed. Because saturation point of jobs for msc anatomy canidates have been reached and exceeded. Hence it is difficult to find jobs in your home town and you may have to work in distant places for low wages. Moreover this course is not recognised by Medical council of india untill you do your phd. MCI restricts the number of msc graduates in all departments to a few when compared to md fellows. In addition to you are treated as a non Medico and not well respected by the students untill you have very good teaching skills. Previously medical graduates did not prefer to do md in non clinical subjects like anatomy but now things have changed and there is stiff competition to do MD in such subjects. If you dont complete your doctrate you will remain as a wastage in the department not eligible for salary increments. Imagine the no 2 treatment through out your life. Present salary scale for a tutor in a medical colleges is around 20000 inr. |

Future is miserable...Dont join.....God bless you.......do something related to computers.....better option. or else do Botany, Zoology etc.... After MSc life will be having tension, depression etc |
