Re: Can I do MCA after Msc? Hi If you have pursued BCA then it is better to do MCA . But if you want to pursue M.SC first then also you can pursue MCA .MCA is a total of two years course and MCA(hons) is of three years.M.Sc is of two years program. Both the options are good but you should prefer to do MCA . There are few good universities and institutes which are offering these courses with good job opportunities and industrial nad practical exposure are like Lovely Professional UNiversity, KIIT university, Bahra University, and few others. |

Re: Can I do MCA after Msc? you can do MCA after completing your MSC cs.... you will get admission into several universities in india ..........if you want to take admission into MCA than you can take as a lateral entry scheme ......there u can save your 2 year .........the university which provides this facility can give u admission into fifth sem or final year ............so my suggestion is to go for it .........and make your future bright....... |

After BCA, you can go for MCA, and you face a financial problem, then dont worry there are several banks, who provide educational loan. So apply for educational loan and go for MCA. If you do M.sc IT after BCA and then you can do MCA, then i think it is foolish decesion and you will waste your money as well as time. So, please go for MCA and then you will save time as well as money. After completing MCA you will get osem job in IT sector with high salary pacakage. So, please go for MCA, it is best path for you and dont waste time to do M.sc IT............ |

Hi MCA is the course where other student other than BSC computer science or BSC computer technology can do...MCA is better course than MSC ...since many company wanted the guys MCA rather than MSC .So, it would be better to go with MCa "MCA & MScIT both of them are mastres degree......different is just in the duration..... both courses provide good software skills.....i think after MCA & MScIT your skills are more important.....So give attention to your knowledge and skills....they will give you the right job...." |

Re: Can I do MCA after Msc? hii, to enter in the IITs you need to write the GATE exam its an all india level exam conducted by the MHRD.To get into IITs you must have minimum 96 percentile. some useful tips for GATE, 1.study all the standard books as per the syaalbus. 2.cover up all the basic concepts well. 3.solve as many problems as you can can from various books. 4.Take coaching from good insti like the gateforum. 5.Take mock exam this will help you too perform well. |

Re: Can I do MCA after Msc? As you had completed BCA I suggest you to go for Msc Computer science rather than IT. There is no need to go for again MCA after Msc degree both are equal degrees, nothing to worry. Remember one thing the degree will give you just basic information about the subject it depends on solely you to prove your self for the world. So don't bother about the degree you are 100% in the write track only. If you still want to go for MCA after your Msc it will be your choice but it will be in general waste of time. So choose Msc computer science with out any doubt. All the best. |

Dear MCA vs MSc: A Master's degree in any discipline covers the same topics as the Bachelor's in the same discipline, except that the topics may be fewer in number (with greater flexibility in course selection) with more depth in content. Re: Can I do MCA after Msc? I don't know why you are just leaving the great opportunity by yourself simply because of financial problem. MCA is a very good option You asked to do it after your M.Sc. I think you may be thinking that by the time you finish your M.Sc your financial position may become bright. But that's not good. You can do MCA after M.Sc. But you will be given the same preference as you join MCA after BCA. SO 2 years of valuable career you simply wasted by your hands. Keep in mind one thing. Once money is lost, you may earn it at anytime. But once career is lost, you can not get it back. To get money, you may take loans from various banks if you don't have any support from your relatives and other sources. Hope you take wise decision and join MCA. |

And also it would be better for you for the job prospects.If you have already completed your graduation in MSC then it would be better for you to go for the Job rather then doing any other courses.... If you really want to go for higher study then go for the M.Tech it would be beneficial for you in the future and you will also find interest in ding M.Tech....
