Hi Sir, I am interested to apply for PhD in Biotechnology program in Bodoland University, Kokrajhar. I just want to know about the procedure for getting admission in this university for this PhD program. Please let me know immediately. Thank you!

The admission procedure to study PhD Biotechnology at Bodoland University Kokrajhar is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Applications to the M.Phil and PhD courses are accepted from candidates who have completed their Master’s degree from a relevant stream with 55% marks for the general category candidates and 50% marks for SC and ST candidates in the qualifying examination.

Admission to the M.Phil and PhD courses will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance test, conducted by the University.

Admission Procedure:-

Candidates who have done post graduate degree from a recognized university can do PhD Biotechnology.

Minimum marks required 55%.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

UGC NET is the entrance exam.

1. You must have completed Master’s Degree holders satisfying the criteria stipulated under Clause 2 above.

2. Candidates should have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

3. Admission to this course is based on the entrance test conducted by the university.

Those who have completed their masters degree with atleast 55% marks are eligible for admission to PhD.

5% relaxation is provided to sc/st/obc category.

Those who have completed M.phil shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the PhD degree.

Total of 15 department are offering admission in to PhD programme.

Admission is granted on the basis of entrance exam followed by interview.
