For PhD, admission is based on the entrance exam and interview conducted by the university.

Candidate must possess M.VSc degree with a minimum of 7.00 CGPA for unreserved and 6.50 for reserved category on the scale of 10.00.

Candidate must possess 50% (unreserved) and 40% ( reserved) in written and interview taken together.

Admission procedure to study PhD(Veterinary Biochemistry) in Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences University is as follows.

Applicant can get admission through UGC NET or equivalent exam.

Applicant can also get admission through entrance exam conducted by university.

Applicant's final selection will be done through personal interview.
