Am I eligible to appear in UGC NET with 51% in MA History?
Hi everyone, I have done MA in History and scored 51% marks. I want to do PhD in History with the help of UGC NET. So, with this percentage of marks, I can appear in UGC NET in History?

Eligibility to appear for UGC NET Exam:-
Candidate must secure at least 50% marks in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognised universities / colleges in humanities and social science, computer science and applications, electronic science etc are eligible for this exam. Age limit:- The candidates appear for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped. |
