Am I eligible to apply for PhD(Plant Science) being a Biology postgraduate?
Hello everyone, I did MSc(Biology) course and now interested to do PhD in Plant Science. I would like to know about my eligibility to do PhD in this stream. Kindly tell me as soon as possible. Waiting for your response!

Yes, any life science postgraduate with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university is eligible to apply for PhD in Plant Science, which is a similar subject. Just make sure you choose a topic for your research according to your qualification.
Admission will be on merit which will decided through entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. You can also appear for NET/SET in the concerned subject which is accepted by most of the universities in India. |
