Am I eligible for PhD from Mumbai University having 46% in MA?


hello,
I`m MA in English Literature with 46% from Mumbai University. I belong to OBC. I`m planning for Phd. Am I eligible for PhD from mumbai university? please guide me for the same.

Sorry that you are not eligible for PhD after completing MA with 46% of marks. Being an OBC category student you are required to score at least 55% of marks at Master's Degree level. Since, you have scored 46% of mark in MA, which is not upto the PhD eligibility criteria. So, you are not eligible for PhD. However, you can apply for some other professional courses like, MBA, LLB, Chartered Accountant etc.
