Am I eligible to study PhD in Life Science being an MSc(Microbiology) student?

I am student of MSc with Microbiology as a specialization. I want to do PhD now after my Post Graduation. So, as I am a Microbiology student and not Life Science student, I am eligible to do PhD in Life Science or not as I have Microbiology in my MSc also?

Microbiology is related to life sciences field, and you can surely apply for the same subject, if you have got a masters degree with 55% marks from a recognized university.

You need to prepare for CSIR NET according to the syllabus of Life Sciences subject. Just make sure you are ready for it.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
