Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There are no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |

NET Eligibility Criteria :
1. The candidate who ha secured 55% of mark's in master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for these Test. 2. Candidate who have appeared for masters degree examination can also apply for the NET Examination. 3. Candidates are advised to appear in post graduation subjects only. According to the second eligibility criteria the candidate whose results are not yet released can also apply for the Examination. So you can apply for the December session after completing your final examination. |

If you are in final year of the post graduation then surely you can appear for NET but you need to get a reference letter from the college for applying.
The minimum marks required is 55% marks in post graduation. If you fulfill this criteria then only you will be eligible for NET. |
