Can I become a Professor in any Government college through PhD(English) program?
I am interested in doing a PhD in English. Actually, my aim is to become a Professor in any reputed Government college. So, I would like to know about the possibility of becoming a professor for me through this PhD program.

Yes, You are totally eligible become a professor in any government college but you have to clear selection procedure which may include written exam or interview.
