Can I become a Professor with PhD(Civil Engineering) program of JNIAS-Secunderabad?


Hello friends, I would like to know that if I do PhD(Civil Engineering) from JNIAS-Secunderabad then is it possible to become a Professor or not? Please let me know that can I become a Professor or not? Thank you!

Yes, being a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering holder you have the chance to become an Assistant Professor, but you are required to qualify in the UGC NET entrance exam.

1) For the Assistant Professor: The candidate required to complete PhD program alone with UGC NET score card.

2) For the Associate Professor: The candidate should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the PG classes

3) For the Professor : The candidate should have minimum 12 years of teaching experience in the PG classes with Ph.D. in a relevant subject.
