Re: Can I do my PhD with cross major?
Most of reputed universities give admission on merit through entrance exam and interview.
In order to get admission, candidate must have completed masters in relevant subject from a recognised board. Just make sure that you clear exams like NET/SET/GATE or any other entrance exam with good marks. |

Can I do my PhD with cross major?
A joint PhD is a doctorate that is done at two or more degree-awarding institutions. Sometimes referred to as a split-site PhD, doing a joint PhD doesn't mean that you're simply supervised by one supervisor in one university while another supervisor at a different university advises you on an informal basis. The duration of the course is 2 to 5 years. |

Can I do my Ph.D. with a cross major?
Yes, definitely. Of course, you can, The specific subfield is mostly limited by (a) your interests; (b) availability of a suitable supervisor who knows that field, and possibly (c) availability of funding/equipment/etc for that research direction. |
