I have done BA,MA and B Ed with Hindi, and now I have done MA with English from different university but I have not done my bechaler degree(BA) with English ...So can do PHD in English on basis of MA English degree?

Can I do PHD after BA with hindi and MA with English?

1. Eligibility criteria include a Master's degree or M. Phil with 55% marks from the recognized university for General Category students, For the reserved category, students have 50% Marks with PG/M.

2. There is no age restriction to pursue this course.

If you have completed MA in english with atleast 55% and above marks from a recognised university , then you are eligible for PhD programme.

Admission is granted on the basis of national level entrance exam like
NET
SET
SLET
GATE
UGC NET
CSIR UGC NET etc
Or else they have to appear for university level entrance exam for admission.
They they will be called for an interview round.

The minimum educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. A candidate applying for the course must satisfy the eligibility criteria with a combination of marks scored in their 10+2+3+2 and the entrance examinations. Admission selection is based on the entrance examination score followed by an interview.
