Can I study PhD in Sociology if working in a Private Firm?


Hello,
Can I do PhD in Sociology while doing job in a Private Firm? I am interested to study PhD but I am also working. Kindly tell me can I do this?

The eligibility to do PhD in Sociology through distance education in IGNOU is M Phil and Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks from a recognised university or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks from a recognised university and 5 years of teaching/industry/administrative/professional experience at senior level.
The aspirant has to appear for a PhD Entrance Test and interview for the admission to PhD. There is no age limit to do the course. You can find the details in the IGNOU website, Official Website
