Hello friend, I am looking forward to do PhD program in Physics. So, IGNOU offered this PhD program? If yes, then what is the requirements for the admission? Please let me know about this as soon as possible.

IGNOU offers PhD in Physics. A candidate can apply if he satisfies the following requirements.
Eligibility : Master’s Degree in relevant subject from a University recognised by UGC with atleast 55% marks(50% in case of SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and Differently Abled Candidates.
*Qualified in the Entrance Examination conducted by IGNOU at National Level. Short listed candidates are called for Personal Interview.
* Candidates will be invited to present their PhD Proposals before the Doctoral Committee of Physics.
