I am M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering holder and wanted to do PhD from SRM, University. Does SRM University provides PhD in the same? Procedure to get admission?

Yes SRM University provide PhD in Mechanical stream.
Those who have completed master's in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university, are eligible to do PhD in respective discipline.
You need to apply application form and submit it to the university along with demand draft of Rs 1000/-.
Then you have to appear in SRMGEET entrance test conducted by SRN University.
According to the merit list admission committee will call the students for counselling procedure. Seat will be confirmed with respect to the choice made for branches and seat availability.

Candidates those who have completed their M.Tech/M.E degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the Ph.D course from SRM University.
Candidates must have to qualify in the GATE or NET examination in order to be eligible to get admission at SRM University. Admission is based on the marks scored in the entrance examination.
