Good morning Sir, I am pursuing BE Automobile Final Year, I would Like to apply for the post for Scientist/Engineer, can i write the exam under Scientist/Engineer mechanical? Please reply me at mail [email protected]

°°° If you want to become a space scientist in ISRO then the minimum educational qualification required is Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of engineering in the following specialisations such as mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science engineering etc.
Then you have to appear in the ISRO centralised recruitment board exam and the minimum eligibility for taking this exam is Bachelor of Technology with minimum aggregate of 65% marks or 6.8 CGPA on a scale of 10.
Then you will be asked to appear for a round of written test and interview conducted by ISRO.

Educational qualification to become Scientist/Engineer in mechanical stream:-

To become scientist firstly, you have to complete your master degree like MSc, ME, MTech or any other master's degree in the related field after B tech mechanical engineering.
To do master degree you have clear GATE exam.

The educational qualification required to become a Scientist/Engineer in the Mechanical stream is a candidate should choose a specialization in which field you want to become a scientist and pursue courses accordingly. In 10+2 you should choose PCM(Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and thereafter choose BE/BTech in disciplines like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer Science with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA from a recognized university. A PhD degree in related specializations will be an added advantage with research work.
