I have completed B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technician and M.Sc in MLT as well with specialisation in Hematology and Blood Banking. Can I take PhD in Hematology or Pathology?

Educational qualification required to apply for PhD in Hematology or Pathology:-

Post graduate degree in relevant subject or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates will have to clear the common entrance examination conducted by the university for the course.

The educational qualification required for a PhD in Hematology or Pathology is given below.

PhD in Hematology - A candidate must have completed their MBBS course at the undergraduate level. After completion of their MBBS course, they must have done their post-graduation in Molecular Biology from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination followed by an interview.

PhD in Pathology - A candidate must have done a post-graduation in the relevant subject with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of a common entrance examination which is conducted by the university.

Qualification required for PhD In Pathology is candidates must have a post graduate degree in a relevant field with minimum 50%marks from a recognised university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called UGC and NET.

UGC and NET is the entrance exam to Study PhD Pathology.

Those candidates who have completed their masters degree from a recognised university with minimum 50%marks can study PhD Pathology.

Minimum duration of this course is 3 years.
