Eligibility Criteria required to appear in CSIR NET Examination:

The minimum basic eligibility criteria required to appear in CSIR NET Examination is given below:

>> Candidates who have completed Master's Degree or Post Graduation from a recognized university in concerned discipline are eligible to apply.

>> As you have completed Master's Degree which is M.Sc in Molecular and Human Genetics course, I can say that you will be eligible to appear in CSIR NET Examination.

>> The minimum percentage required is 55% marks in the qualifying course.

>> For Assistant Professor, there is no certain age criteria required for CSIR NET Examination.

>> For JRF Exam, candidates should not exceed 31 years in order to be eligible.

Those who have completed masters in relevant subject with atleast 55% marks from a recognised board are eligible to apply.
5% relaxation is provided to reserved categories.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Those who are enrolled in their masters program are also eligible.
As of January 2022, the maximum age limit for JRF award is 28 years.
For OBC the age limit is 31 years.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
