Sir, I am interested to study PhD in Biotechnology program from Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology. I want to know about the eligibility criteria for doing this PhD from this institute. Can you tell me about the eligibility criteria for getting admission?

Those candidates who have UGC NET JRF score card are eligible for Ph.D course.

If you have completed masters degree in Biotechnology with above 55% marks from a recognized University then you are eligible for Ph.D course in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology. There is no age criteria.

Course duration of Ph.D:-

Total - 5 years (Minimum)

First year- Course Work

Two to four years- Project Work
