Hello, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for studying PhD(English) which is available in Indira Gandhi University. I am looking forward to doing this PhD in this university. Can any of you let me know about the eligibility criteria?

Only those candidates are eligible who possess a master degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. 5% of relaxation in marks is given to SC/ ST / OBC(NCL)/ Differently-Abled category candidates

Ph. D carries its own value and IGNOU is the largest university in the world, therefore it most definitely has value. There are private universities like Manipal and others which also have their own individual value, from an employment point of view

Age : No bar

Eligibility to pursue PhD(English) in Indira Gandhi University is that the applicant must have completed masters from any recognized university. The students must have secured 55% marks in Masters. The student should be available for the duration of three year. There is no age limit to pursue this course.

The eligibility to study PhD in English at Indira Gandhi University is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate or Grade B from a recognized university and there is no age bar. Admission selection will be done on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted by the university.
