Hello everyone, I am interested to do PhD program in Indian Agricultural Research Institute in the specialization of Agriculture Economics. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for doing this PhD program in this university. Please tell me asap.

For studying PhD in IARI you need to have a M.Sc in any of the following relevant subjects : Agricultural Economics / Dairy Economics/ Livestock Economics/ Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation/ Fisheries Economics.

You need to have at-least 60% marks in aggregate in your master's degree from a recognized university.

They conduct an entrance exam for the PhD admission, to which they give 80% weight-age for admission. The academic score is calculated since the Xth standard and a 10% weight-age is given to it.

A personal interview is also conducted to which 10% weight-age is given.

Based on all the above, admission to the program takes place.
