Hello everyone, I want to apply for PhD in Biotechnology course in The University of Burdwan. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this college for this PhD program. Please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap. Thank you!

** Ph.D. Biotechnology or Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology is Doctorate Biotechnology course. The duration of this course is three years.

** The candidate should have passed Master degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and 2nd class Hons from a recognized university.

** The final selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of Entrance Test and interview.

Eligibility to study Ph.D (Biotechnology) in The University of Burdwan are as follows:-
Candidate must have completed Post-graduation in Biotechnology/ Biology from a recognised university.
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Eligibility to study PhD (biotechnology) in the University of Burdwan:-

- duration - 3 to 5 years

The masters degree is required to gain admission to a doctoral program.
In some subjects, doing a Masters in philosophy (M.Phil) prerequisite to start PHD.
