Hello everyone, I am interested to do PhD program in Chandigarh University in the specialization of Business Management. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for doing this PhD program in this institute. Please tell me asap.

As per the rules of UGC, for PhD, in any stream, you just have to have a master's degree.

It means, all you need is to be a post graduate to take admission for PhD.

With the qualification you have mentioned, you are completely eligible.

The eligibility to study PhD in Business Management at Chandigarh University is a candidate must have passed MBA or MCom with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university. The candidates with valid scores in GATE/CSIR NET/UGC NET/SLET or GPAT will be exempted from the entrance test but will have to appear for the interview.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidates must have a master's degree in relevant stream or an Allied field with 55%marks in aggregate are eligible for for this course.

You must have a post graduate degree and have to score minimum 55%marks in aggregate after that you are eligible to study PhD (Business Management).

Eligibility to study PhD(Business Management) in Chandigarh University are as follows:-
Candidate must have obtained a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any appropriate subject.
Candidate should have a minimum experience of two years post their Master's degree on the date of writing the admission test.
Candidate must have to pass the entrance test to get admission.

Some of the entrance test are as follows:-
UGC NET, GATE, R-MAT, XAT.

The candidate should have done Master degree in business management or and allied field with at least 55% marks in aggregate or 5.5 CGPA on 10 point scale and having a valid score in Chandigarh University PHD entrance test/GOAT/UGC/CSIR-NET + INTERVIEW.

Those seeking admission to PhD programme must have Masters degree in Business Management with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university.
Candidates belonging to sc/st /obc are provided 5% concession in marks.

Admission is granted on the basis of entrance exam/ and councelling as well.as merit based admission is also granted.
