Hello friends, can you let me know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission in Central University of Punjab for studying PhD in Chemical Sciences course? Kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria asap. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

Eligibility to study PhD(Chemical Sciences) in Central University of Punjab;

The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) from any recognized university.

The applicant must have qualified an entrance test conducted by university. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET-JRF are exempted from entrance test.

Please find below the detail information about the eligibility criteria to study PhD in Chemical Sciences at Central University of Punjab.

Eligibility :-

You must have the following eligibility criteria on the date of Registrations or verification of Documents.

1) You must have completed Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry or Organic Chemistry or Physical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry with minimum 60% marks for General candidates and 55% marks for SC or ST or OBC or PWD candidates from a recognized Indian or foreign University or institute.

2) You must have some financial support like NET-JRF, financial assistance from Govt. agencies ,Industrial Fellowship etc.
If you have NET-JRF then you will be exempted from test . You have to appear only for the interview.

3) If you do not have any financial support then you have to appear in the test. After qualified at the test, you can admit before the issue of next advertisement of admission but only if you are able to get any financial support.

4) You must have all the original documents of your academic qualification at the time of interview and document verification.

Eligibility to study PhD (Chemical Sciences) in Central University of Punjab are as follows:-
Candidate must have Master's degree in Science as their major discipline with at least 55% aggregate from a recognised University.

No age limit is required to pursue this course.
