The Eligibility is:-

Candidates who have done post graduate degree from a recognised university can study PhD Economics at Sarala Birla University.

UGC NET is the entrance exam.

Eligibility to study PhD(Economics) in Sarala Birla University:-

Candidates with following qualification shall be eligible for admission to the PhD program of the university.

Candidates possessing MTech/ M.E./MSc ( Engineering )/ MSC/ MCA/ MBA/ M A or equivalent degree in the relevant branch from a recognised University with minimum 55% mark or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for admission in the relevant departments.

Sponsored candidates must have minimum of 2 years of professional work experience, besides fulfilling the above criteria.

In addition, such candidates should have valid sponsorship at least for 3years.

Relaxation for SC/ST candidates -
Eligibility criteria will be relaxed by 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.

The eligibility to study PhD in Economics at Sarala Birla University is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the online entrance test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university.

Eligibility:-

The entrance exam to Study PhD Economics is GATE and NET.

Those candidates who have completed their masters degree from a recognised university can study PhD Economics.

candidates with the accompanying capabilities will be qualified for admission to the Ph.D. Program of the College:

a) candidates having M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc.(Engg.)/M.Sc/MCA/MBA/Mama or identical Degree in an important branch from a reputed College with least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a ten-point scale in the passing assessment are qualified to apply for p.hd .

FOR SC/ST candidates

Qualification rules will be loosened up by 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.
