Hello friends, can you let me know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission in IISR-Calicut for studying PhD in Genetics & Plant Breeding course? Kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria asap. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

To pursue PhD in Genetics and plant breeding, a candidate must have completed M.Phil or equivalent level examination and the minimum eligibility criteria for admission is 55% marks at M.Phil or equivalent level in the respective domain.

The admissions are done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in M Phil or equivalent level.

In order to pursue PhD in Genetics and plant breeding, the candidate must have completed master of philosophy in Genetics and plant breeding or equivalent course from a recognised University with at least 55% marks.
The candidate has to qualify the entrance test conducted by the respective University where he or she wants to seek admission.
