Hello everyone, I want to do PhD(Mathematics) from Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission and studying this PhD course in this institute. Please tell me immediately. Thank you!

The eligibility to study PhD Mathematics at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called GATE,UGC ,CSIR and JRF.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

Eligibility to study PhD (Mathematics) in JNU:-

>> As per UGC guidelines, candidates must have scored a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grades.

>> Admission is based on a national level entrance examination followed by an interview.

The applicant must have MSc Degree in Mathematical or Physical Sciences/ BTech Candidates from any discipline with a minimum of 60% score.

Those candidates who have completed their masters degree from a recognized university can do PhD Mathematics.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

The candidate should have completes graduation, post graduation with a minimum of 55% marks from any university. The candidate should have completed post graduation in mathematics. The candidate will have to qualify the entrance exam to get admission.

The eligibility to study PhD in Mathematics at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 50% in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission is granted on the basis of a valid score in GATE/CSIR-UGC/JEST/INSPIRE or any other equivalent national level examination. The shortlisted candidates need to qualify for the interview round which is conducted by JNCASR. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course.

Ph.D. Mathematics or Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics is Doctorate Mathematics course.

For the admission of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics course, the candidate should have passed master degree in the relative field from a reputed recognized university.

The duration of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics course is three years.

The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of National Eligibility Test.
