Eligible candidates have to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University for the admission to study PhD (Botany) in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University. Candidates who have qualified NET / SLET / GATE / MPhil may be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test to study PhD (Botany) in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University. The Entrance Test contains two papers. The Paper I (common for all subjects) – contains 60 multiple choice questions and Paper II (Botany) – contains 60 objective type multiple choice questions. The syllabus of the test will be the same as the syllabus of GATE or UGC-NET. Candidates should score at least 40% marks in each paper to qualify the test.
