Hi everyone, can anyone of you let me know that which entrance exam I have to give so that I can secure admission in CUSAT for studying PhD in Statistics course? Kindly let me know about the entrance exam asap. Waiting for your response!

DAT is the entrance exam to study PhD Statistics in CUSAT.

To study PhD Statistics,you must have a master's degree from a recognized university.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

Candidates seeking admission to CUSAT Ph.D. program must qualify for the DAT entrance exam conducted by the varsity. The final selection is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in both DAT and personal interview. CUSAT conducted the DAT entrance test from July 16 - 18, 2021.

Interested candidates need to qualify DAT test conducted by university with minimum 50% marks.
DAT has two parts a written test and an interview.
The rank of candidate is decided on the following weightage
Marks in masters degree 30%
Marks in DAT entrance exam 50%
Interview marks 20%

It provides admission through an entrance exam conducted by university or national level qualifying exam .

1. Eligible applicants need to appear for the Departmental Admission Test (DAT) which is conducted by the university.

2. DAT is comprised of a written test and doctoral interview.

3. The minimum passing percentage is 50% in the written test.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called CAT to study PhD Statistics at CUSAT.

Qualification required for PhD Statistics is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.
