Entrance exam to study PhD(Geography) at the YBN University? Cutoff rank required to get admission?


Hi, kindly let me know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission for PhD course in Geography at YBN University. Please let me know about the cutoff rank for getting admission.

Entrance exam to study PhD(Geography) at the YBN University is as follows.

Applicant will be selected on the basis of entrance exam conducted by university.

Applicant must have minimum score of 50% in master degree to get admission.

Entrance exam to study for Ph.D. (Geography) at YBN University are as follows:-

Applicants who have already passed UGC (JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SELT or have M. Phil degree can directly appear for an interview.

or

1. Research Entrance Exam (RET) -70% weightage

2. Interview/Viva Voce - 30%weightage

Entrance Exam : Research Entrance Exam (RET)

*The performance of a candidate in the RET is given 70% weightage, and the remaining 30% weightage is given to his/her performance at the Interview.
