Hi everyone, I want to join Central University of Tamil Nadu for studying PhD(Mathematics). Can I know which are the entrance exams available for admission in this course and in this university?

Yes, the entrance examination is available to study PhD in Mathematics at the Central University of Tamil Nadu. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in CUCET (Central University Common Entrance Test) followed by an interview. The candidates who have qualified UGC-JRF/UGC-CSIR will be exempted from the entrance test and will directly appear for the interview. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed a Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate for the general category and for SC/ST candidates it is 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
