I am 1st year Botany hons. Student , I have an interest in research , but I don't have any information regarding it .....so please tell me but I have to do to take part in research field

Procedure to get into research stream after completing Botany honours can be seen below.

You have completed MSc in relevant subjects with minimum aggregate of 55% from recognized university.

You will go through UGC JRF examination.

Your final selection will be done through personal interview.

You can directly take admission in the course with subject in which you are willing to do research. You can choose these subjects for research purpose Agricultural Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Enviromental studies.

If you want to do research work or ph.d (doctors in philosophy) you must be postgraduate (master's degree) with minimum 55% with recognized University...and before doing ph.d you should clear ph.d entrance exam UGC NET EXAM than you can enrolled for research work..
