Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) conducts Junior Research Fellowship examination ICMR JRF to admit students for the award of Junior Research Fellowship. With this candidates can get in to any University to do PhD in the field of Life Sciences and Social Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate need to have Master degree or equivalent degree with 55% minimum in academics
• SC/ST and physically handicapped students need minimum 50% in academics
• Need to be in between minimum 28 years of age

As, you have completed M.Sc in Microbiology you are eligible for ICMR JRF. This examination is conducted in 2 sections.

It contains 2 Sections. These two sections are multiple choice questions and are as follows:

Section I:

It contains questions from Aptitude and are 50 and for 50 marks in number. This includes,

• Common Statistics
• General Knowledge
• Logical Reasoning
• Scientific Phenomenon in everyday life

Section 2:

It contains questions from subjects from Life Sciences (Part 1) and Social Sciences (Part 2). Each part has 100 questions and candidate need to answer 75 questions from each part.
