MS(Software System) is eligible for UGC NET?
Hello Sir, Am doing MS (Software system) final year ? Am I eligible to take NET exams?
I heard that MS is not in the UGC list?..Could you please help me out on the same? I have done B.E(Electronics and Instrumentation). Also, M.tech (software system) is eligible for the same? Regards, jagatheeswari |

Eligibility
Must be an Indian National Must have Masters degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised board. Those who have MS degree recognised by UGC are also eligible. Their age must not exceed 30 years as of 1 st March 2022 Thus you are eligible as far as you fulfill all other eligibility criteria also. |

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET exam. The basic criteria for UGC NET is to complete the master degree with 55% marks. If you want to apply for junior fellowship research then your age must be not more than 30.
