A Ph.D is always a better option than M.Phil, if you are getting admission in a reputed university. Only those who don't secure Ph.D admission, go for M.Phil admission because there is no other option for them.

Hence, if you are getting admission in Ph.D, then make sure you don't miss it. Admission is based on the performance in the entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university.
