No, diploma candidates are not eligible for Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria.

So first complete your post graduation degree then you are eligible for Ph.D course.

The aspirant has to study M.E or M.Tech in Computer Science with a minimum of 60% marks to study the PhD. There will be an entrance examination and interview for the admission to the course. The PhD programme is available in many universities in India. For example it is available in,
