Is Ph.D useful for me after M.Sc in soil science?

I have completed M.Sc in soil science and water conservation from BCKV. Now I want to join in Ph.D. Is it beneficial to me?

Ph.D can be a good option if you are a lecturer who wants to get promotion. Those who want to enter research field can also go for Ph.D programme but make sure you get admission at a reputed university.

Hence, if you are getting admission at a reputed institution or university for Ph.D programme then surely it will be a good option.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
