am msc biotechnology student .
am eligibile to get dbt scholarships for my phd.?
if not when we apply for dbt scholorships????

If you have got 55% marks in your M.Sc Biotechnology from a recognized University then you are definitely eligible for DBT JRF BET. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

After qualifying DBT BET JRF you will be eligible for fellowship and will get stipend for the duration of 2 years. This fellowship will definitely help you in getting admission in a Ph.D program. For getting the stipend you must clear DBT JRF BET.

Application submission date for DBT JRF scholarship usually ends by March end every year.

If you have scored 60%(55% for SC/ST) in your post graduation, and if you are less than 28 years of age(33 for SC/ST), then you are eligible for the scholarship.
