Possibility to do PhD(Applied Mathematics) for MTech(Chemical Engineering) 2nd year candidate?


Hi friends, I am doing MTech in 2nd year with Chemical Engineering specialization. In future I want to do PhD in Applied Mathematics. So, is this possible for me or not as I am from different stream student.

No,for PhD Applied Mathematics,you have to complete your masters degree in a relevant field with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Duration of this course is 3 to 5 years.

No, it's not possible to study PhD Applied Mathematics,you must have a master's degree in same discipline from a recognized university.

Duration of PhD Applied Mathematics is 3 to 5 years.
